Hollow Tides

Hollow Tides is a narrative adventure that trades action for atmosphere. You explore a half-sunken town, tapping through rooms, solving environmental puzzles, and piecing together what happened to the people who lived there. It's quiet, a little eerie, and beautifully drawn.

The puzzles are logical rather than obtuse, which is a relief. Nothing here requires a walkthrough, but a few moments made us stop and think, which is the sweet spot. The writing is restrained and lets the environments do most of the talking.

It's a shorter experience, maybe four or five hours, but it stays with you. We'd recommend playing it with headphones in one sitting if you can.
