Racing
Nitro District
★★★★☆ 4.0
Nitro District is pure arcade racing, no simulation pretensions. You tilt or tap to steer, the drifting is forgiving, and the sense of speed is excellent. Tracks wind through neon-soaked cityscapes that look better than a mobile racer has any right to.
The career mode is structured as a ladder of events, and upgrading your car feels meaningful without being a grind. We liked that you can unlock most vehicles just by playing, and the handling genuinely changes between them rather than being a stat bump.
Online races were hit or miss during our testing, sometimes laggy, but the single-player content is strong enough to stand on its own.
What we liked
- Great sense of speed
- Forgiving drift controls
- Meaningful car upgrades
